The Full Chip, or Decorative Chip, System is our most popular concrete coating system. This three-layer system is easy to install and includes a Lifetime Residential Warranty! The first layer is a primer or base coat using our unique polyurea concrete coating. The second layer is made up of our decorate chip, which comes in a wide variety of colors. Then, a clear polyaspartic top coat is added to seal everything in for ultimate durability and a high-gloss shine. Anti-slip additives can be applied to give this textured system even more slip resistant properties. Installation is typically completed in one day and can handle vehicle traffic 24 hours later. CONCRETE PREPARATION
Mechanically prepare the surface to accept the coatings and ensure proper adhesion
CLEAN THE SURFACE
Remove all dust and debris
CRACK & DAMAGE REPAIR
Repair any cracks, pits, and damage in the concrete
CLEAN THE SURFACE (AGAIN)
Remove additional dust and debris after repairs
APPLY POLYUREA BASECOAT
Basecoat applied to entire surface
Broadcast Decorative Chip
Decorate chip is over-broadcast to ensure complete coverage
Allow Basecoat to Cure
Generally 1-3 hours of time before basecoat is ready
REMOVE EXCESS CHIP & SCRAPE SMOOTH
Excess chip is removed and surface is scraped to eliminate sharp edges
Clean the Surface (and again)
The third and final surface cleaning to prepare for the top coat.
